## Key points

- Report examines an allegedly whites-only US settlement.
- New residents are reportedly screened for ideological compatibility.
- Leader’s reported Nazi comments have intensified concern.

## Summary

The article examines a US community that reportedly restricts residency to white people and vets prospective arrivals as part of an effort to preserve what its organisers describe as “European identity”. It focuses on the community’s leader, whose reported views on Nazism have prompted concern and renewed scrutiny of explicitly racial exclusion in housing and settlement projects.

The report describes the settlement as operating through screening of potential residents and presents it as part of a broader white nationalist movement. Its significance lies in the apparent attempt to translate extremist racial ideology into a self-contained residential community, raising questions about discrimination, legality and the normalisation of such beliefs.
