Inter Milan are in advanced talks to sign Tottenham Hotspur full-back Djed Spence for a deal worth at least £25.6m. The potential move would see Spurs lose a regular starter, prompting the club to begin identifying replacements.

Spence, 26, is able to play on either flank and strengthened his standing with eight World Cup appearances. He started 23 Premier League matches for Tottenham last season, when the club narrowly avoided relegation, and has made 85 appearances since joining from Middlesbrough for £20m in July 2022.
