## Key points

- Interpol have announced one replacement London show for 4 December.
- The 3,800-capacity British Airways Arc replaces two cancelled Olympia dates.
- Bloc Party will not perform at the new show.

## Summary

Interpol will play a replacement London show on 4 December after venue planning issues led to the cancellation of two planned co-headline concerts with Bloc Party. The single, more intimate performance gives the band a chance to play for London fans in support of their eighth album, *This Mirror Weighs A Ton*.

The new show is at the British Airways Arc at Olympia, which has a capacity of 3,800, compared with 7,000 at the Grand Hall where the original dates were scheduled. Interpol will perform without Bloc Party; tickets go on pre-sale at 9am on 5 November and general sale at 9am on 6 November. Their UK and European tour begins in Copenhagen next week.
