AMC has renewed Interview with the Vampire for a fourth season, which will be retitled Queen of the Damned. The confirmation resolves uncertainty after the third season’s cliffhanger and signals that the Anne Rice adaptation will continue expanding its central story around Louis, Lestat and the newly awakened Akasha.

The series began in 2022 and its third season was rebranded The Vampire Lestat, following Lestat’s rise as a rock musician and the consequences of his public concert. Season four will adapt the next stage of Rice’s story, giving Sheila Atim’s Akasha a more prominent role; a teaser shows her calling on women worldwide to rise against their suffering.
