- He spoke at Tehran’s 19th International Resistance Film Festival.

## Summary

Iran’s Basij commander Hossein Taeb said that change had begun in the United States and Israel, speaking at a film festival in Tehran. He presented cinema and media as tools of resistance that could challenge US influence, arguing that the festival’s continuation during threats and hardship showed artists were holding their ground.

Taeb was speaking at the closing ceremony of the 19th International Resistance Film Festival. He referred to attacks on Gaza, Lebanon, Iraq and Syria, saying children had been killed and people across the region had suffered, but claiming the United States and Israel were the conflict’s true losers. The article offers no evidence for his prediction of political change.
