Iron Maiden have added a 16-date North American leg to their “Run for Your Lives Tour” in spring 2027, despite previously planning to take the year off from touring. Bassist Steve Harris said the band decided to continue after enjoying its recent US and Canadian shows and wanted to reach fans in regions it had missed.

The tour runs from 14 April in Tacoma, Washington, to 16 May at Boardwalk Rock in Ocean City, Maryland, with Bullet for My Valentine and The Raven Age supporting most dates. Maiden will also headline Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio, on 14 May. Pre-sales start on 19 October and general sales on 23 October, both at 10 a.m. local time.

Iron Maiden are a British heavy metal band formed in London in 1975. They became known for fast, intricate songs and theatrical concerts, and have built a large following across North America as well as in the UK.

The “Run for Your Lives Tour” is a concert series celebrating the band’s long career. Bullet for My Valentine and The Raven Age are other British rock and metal bands; they are due to support Maiden at most of the North American shows. The tour matters to fans who could not attend earlier dates, as it brings the band to more cities across the continent.
