It marks his first chart-topper since "TQMQA" in April 2024 and caps a long, uneven 18-week ascent to the summit, underlining the song's staying power on Latin radio despite an unusual up-and-down chart trajectory.

"Polaroid" reached the top 10 on 15 August before slipping back to No. 13 the following week, then surged 13-3 and finally to No. 1, aided by a 13% audience gain that brought it to 6.9 million US impressions in the tracking week ending 27 August, according to Luminate. Produced by Carrión with Hide Miyabi and AndrahPR, the track samples Michael Sembello's 1983 hit "Maniac" and comes from Carrión's album CORSA; it also rises 40-35 on the Hot Latin Songs chart, its best showing since debuting at No. 25 in May.
