J. Smith-Cameron and Jefferson White have been cast in Jeff Rutherford’s independent feature “In Our Own Sweet Way”, which has recently completed filming. The project marks Rutherford’s second feature and brings together two actors best known for prominent television roles, with White also serving as a producer.

Set in spring 1988, the film follows two mismatched neighbours whose lives become entwined through love, desperation and longing. It is produced by Rutherford’s Fred Senior Films alongside Stoner Ranch Productions, Echo & Add and Fair Oaks Entertainment; Kyle Eaton produces, while Alexandra Byer and Roger Mancusi are executive producers.
