Jacob Elordi has spoken about filming his character Nate Jacobson's death scene in the final season of Euphoria, describing the experience as gruelling and joking that series creator Sam Levinson "brought me back to torture me." The comments came during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, guest-hosted by his Euphoria co-star Colman Domingo, and offer a rare behind-the-scenes look at how one of the show's most talked-about characters was written off after eight years on air.

Elordi recalled being beaten by a seven-foot actor over six weeks of filming before his death scene, for which he was "locked in a coffin for two days straight" wearing prosthetics and a fake tongue, unable to see. He also revealed that live snakes were placed in the coffin with him, describing one as surprisingly "docile" and dog-like rather than threatening. Elordi acknowledged the long-running audience hostility towards Nate, joking that fans who had wished the character dead for years were now upset to see it happen.
