- He and Michael Sheen helped uncover James Acaster as a traitor.
- Romesh Ranganathan’s suspicion led to Blunt’s exit.

## Summary

James Blunt says he spent much of Celebrity Traitors hoping to be banished, despite becoming one of the series’ most prominent faithful contestants and reaching its final episode. His relaxed approach led him to voice far-fetched theories for entertainment, while he and Michael Sheen eventually helped expose traitor James Acaster.

Blunt says the televised edit left out an intense interrogation that helped lead Acaster to confess, including a dispute over a perfume bottle. He was later voted out after Romesh Ranganathan suspected him of working with traitor Maya Jama; Blunt says he was surprised but felt the ending was perfect.
