- Gunn will clarify what from *The Suicide Squad* is DCU canon.
- The one-off special is due on 30 October.
- Jennifer Holland and Steve Agee will join him.

## Summary

The newly announced one-off special will let viewers watch James Gunn give his definitive answer on which parts of 2021’s *The Suicide Squad* count as official DC Universe canon. The clarification matters because the film came out before the new DCU existed, and fans have repeatedly asked how it connects to projects such as *Peacemaker*.

It is due on 30 October and will be available to watch on HBO Max and official DC and HBO YouTube channels, or listen to on major podcast platforms. The discussion will cover characters including Harley Quinn, Bloodsport, Ratcatcher 2, King Shark, Amanda Waller and Weasel, as well as set stories and fan questions.
