Jamie T has announced a surprise one-off London show at Scala in King’s Cross on 20 August, his first full concert in two years. The intimate homecoming date is significant because it returns him to the venue where he first performed with a full band in 2006, while promotional material suggests it may mark the beginning of a new musical phase.

The Scala holds 1,145 people, and tickets go on general sale at 10am BST on 19 August, with a pre-sale available from 18 August for fans who register. Jamie T’s latest album, ‘The Theory Of Whatever’, was released in 2022; he later issued ‘Hippodrome’ and collaborated with Fred Again.., while also joining Robbie Furze and Jamie Hince in the project M.O.T.H.E.R.
