## Key points

- Sinner’s knee problems ended his 2026 season early.
- Hasanovic asked whether she should move to Los Angeles.
- The couple already live in different cities.

## Summary

Jannik Sinner’s season ended early after persistent knee problems kept him off court since his Wimbledon win in July. His girlfriend, Danish model Laila Hasanovic, has prompted speculation about their relationship after asking on Instagram whether she should move to Los Angeles.

Hasanovic lives in Copenhagen, while Sinner is based in Monte Carlo, so they already live in different cities. Her caption may have been a joke, though she appeared to enjoy her recent LA trip and attended a party in a vampire costume. Sinner also lost the world No. 1 ranking to Alexander Zverev during his absence; he may return at the Indian Wells Open in early 2027.
