Jason Clarke has joined the cast of Supermax, an action-thriller being made by Amazon MGM Studios and Miramax. The film centres on two FBI agents investigating an apparently impossible murder inside a maximum-security prison, and its expanding cast strengthens the profile of a major forthcoming Prime Video release.

Clarke joins Will Smith, AnnaSophia Robb and Jaafar Jackson, although his character has not been disclosed. David Gordon Green will direct a script by David Weil and David J. Rosen, with Smith also producing through Westbrook Studios; Prime Video is set to distribute the film in more than 240 countries and territories.
