- The series originally ran from 2014 to 2015.

## Summary

Jason Momoa’s crime thriller *The Red Road* has returned to Netflix in the United States, giving the little-seen series another chance to reach viewers. Its return matters because the show, which originally aired more than a decade ago, had left Netflix in June 2026.

The series follows a small-town sheriff and a member of a neighbouring Native American community whose uneasy alliance grows out of a tragedy and its cover-up. Created by Aaron Guzikowski, it stars Momoa as Phillip Kopus alongside Martin Henderson and Julianne Nicholson; SundanceTV cancelled the drama after two seasons and 12 episodes.
