Fox's animated series "Universal Basic Guys" has announced an expansive guest star line-up for its third season, including "Saturday Night Live" alumni Jay Pharoah and Cheri Oteri, along with "Workaholics" star Adam Devine and numerous other established television and film actors. The announcement was made at the SCAD Animation Fest in Atlanta, where the show's creators also screened the season premiere episode. This season promises to be particularly significant as the plot introduces a new family member who disrupts the lives of the central characters.

Season 3 of "Universal Basic Guys" premieres on Sunday, 27 September at 9 p.m. ET on Fox, with episodes becoming available on Hulu the following day. The show, produced by Sony Pictures Television and Fox Entertainment's Bento Box Animation studio, centres on brothers Mark and Hank Hoagies, who receive £3,000 per month in a basic income programme after losing their jobs to automation. Beyond the main guest stars, the season features appearances from an extensive ensemble of additional voice actors, including Will Sasso, Ken Jeong, Danny Trejo and Jorge Garcia, among many others.
