## Summary

Jay-Z has confirmed he will headline the Super Bowl LXI halftime show in Los Angeles, marking his first appearance on the event’s stage. The announcement matters both as a major performance milestone in his career and because he has helped shape the show since 2019 through Roc Nation’s partnership with the NFL.

The game is scheduled for 14 February 2027 at SoFi Stadium. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said he had hoped Jay-Z would perform when the timing felt right; the rapper’s recent year included anniversaries of *Reasonable Doubt* and *The Blueprint*, plus stadium shows in the US and Europe.
