## Key points

- Vance expects the Bengals to make a run after beating Baltimore.
- Cincinnati scored 35 second-half points, including four Burrow touchdown passes.
- A forthcoming game against Pittsburgh will test their prospects.

## Summary

Vice-President JD Vance celebrated the Cincinnati Bengals’ 35-14 win over the Baltimore Ravens and predicted the team would “make a run” this season. His optimism reflects his support for the Bengals, whose recent results have been inconsistent.

The Bengals scored all 35 points in the second half, with quarterback Joe Burrow throwing four touchdown passes. They have now won two in a row, but their recent pattern has alternated between two wins and two losses. Four of their next five opponents have losing records, while a game against division co-leader Pittsburgh could help show how far the team can go. Vance also praised receiver Ja’Marr Chase for making his six-year-old son’s day by noticing his Bengals gloves.
