Jennifer Walton and Proc Fiskal Remix My New Band Believe’s “Numerology”

Pitchfork · 2 hours ago

My New Band Believe, the spinoff project of former Black Midi member Cameron Picton, have released two remixes of their single "Numerology." The track originally came out in February as a standalone single ahead of the band's self-titled debut album, released in April. The remixes see input from Jennifer Walton, working alongside 96 Back, and Scottish producer Proc Fiskal, offering fans new interpretations of the song outside the album's official tracklist.

Both remixes will feature on a limited-edition 12" vinyl available exclusively at the band's upcoming live shows. My New Band Believe have an extensive tour lined up, spanning festival dates in Wales, a run of North American shows, dates across Asia including South Korea and Japan, and an autumn European leg taking in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Italy and the UK, among other countries. The band's debut album previously earned Pitchfork's Best New Music distinction.
