Netflix has announced a documentary about Jessica Simpson, directed by BAFTA-nominated filmmaker Joe Pearlman, set to arrive on the streaming platform in 2027. The as-yet-untitled project will explore the pop star's life and career more than two decades after she first invited cameras into her personal life for the reality show *Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica*.
Pearlman, who previously directed documentaries on Robbie Williams, Lewis Capaldi and José Mourinho, will helm the Simpson project.
