Jill Scott, The Roots, Kehlani, Monaleo, LAILA!, Blacc Sam & Bino Rideaux to Participate in Billboard House at R&B Hip-Hop Week
Billboard has announced its Billboard House industry-panel programme for R&B Hip-Hop Week in New York City on 9 September. The event will bring established and emerging artists together for discussions and performances, underscoring Billboard’s effort to spotlight the continuing cultural influence of R&B, hip-hop and Caribbean music.
The Roots and Jill Scott will take part in in-depth conversations, while Kehlani and Monaleo will appear on a Better Health-presented panel. Blacc Sam and Bino Rideaux will discuss Nipsey Hussle’s legacy following the No. 21 Billboard 200 debut of PROLIFIC, and 20-year-old singer-songwriter LAILA! will perform. Billboard has also added kwn to its 10 September R&B Hip-Hop Live concert at Brooklyn Steel, joining Lucky Daye, Yung Miami, Samara Cyn, Skippa and Destin Conrad.
