The New York Giants are entering the 2026 NFL season looking to rebuild after finishing 4–13 last year, their third straight season without a playoff berth. New head coach John Harbaugh, hired away from the Baltimore Ravens after the mid-season sacking of Brian Daboll, takes charge alongside second-year quarterback Jaxson Dart, who impressed after taking over as starter in Week 4, including upset wins over the Los Angeles Chargers and Dallas Cowboys.

Over the offseason the Giants brought in offensive coordinator Matt Nagy to build a system around Dart, and strengthened the roster by signing tight end Isaiah Likely, cornerback Paulson Adebo and safety Jevon Holland, while reshaping the wide receiver corps. The offence will lean on Dart's dual-threat ability, a recovering Malik Nabers, and running backs Cam Skattebo and Tyrone Tracy Jr, though the offensive line is ranked only 23rd in the league. Defensively, edge rushers Brian Burns and Kayvon Thibodeaux lead a unit expected to improve with Adebo and Holland shoring up a secondary that struggled last season, despite the defensive line ranking 21st overall.
