John Summit, Skepta Set For Australia’s Wildlands Festival
Australia's Wildlands Festival will return for a two-date, coast-to-coast run over the New Year period, headlined by DJ John Summit and grime artist Skepta. Organisers Untitled Group have refreshed the event's stage designs and site layouts, reflecting the continued dominance of dance and electronic music within Australia's crowded festival calendar, where such events make up roughly a quarter of the country's 500-plus festivals.
The single-day shows will open at Brisbane Showgrounds on New Year's Eve, Thursday 31 December, before moving around 2,700 miles across the country to Arena Joondalup in Perth on Saturday 2 January. The lineup also features WORSHIP making its Australian debut, alongside DJ KI/KI, Disco Lines and numerous other acts. Presale tickets go on sale Wednesday 5 August at 6pm local time, with general sale opening 24 hours later; the festival receives backing from the Australian government's Revive Live initiative.
