Collider · 2 hours ago

Johnny Knoxville is starring in a new R-rated comedy, Tiny Fugitives, marking a shift away from the stunt-based chaos of Jackass towards more traditional scripted comedy. The film, set for a limited theatrical release, casts Knoxville as a deranged summer camp counsellor pitted against a group of scheming 12-year-olds, and comes from producers with a track record in raunchy youth comedies such as Good Boys, Neighbors and Blockers.

Tiny Fugitives opens exclusively in cinemas on 18 September via Inaugural Entertainment. It is directed and co-written by Michael Lewen, a former Apatow Productions producer who worked on films including Trainwreck and The King of Staten Island, alongside co-writer and executive producer Jacob Kaplan. The cast includes Benjamin Pajak, Aaron Harris, Blake Anderson and Jay Baruchel, while producers include Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's Point Grey Pictures alongside Tango's Tim Headington.
