Jon Bon Jovi ended a Madison Square Garden concert after about 90 minutes because of a sinus infection, cutting short the eighth show of Bon Jovi’s nine-night New York residency. He told fans to keep their ticket stubs while the band works out how to reschedule or otherwise address the disruption, underlining the health challenges surrounding his return to live performance.

A representative confirmed that the infection caused the early finish and said further information would follow. The ‘Forever’ tour is Bon Jovi’s first since his 2022 vocal cord surgery; the band is due to complete its MSG run on 26 July before dates in Edinburgh, Dublin and three Wembley Stadium shows in September.
