Jon Hamm and John Slattery Put Their Music Knowledge to the Test in Track Star Versus
Mad Men co-stars Jon Hamm and John Slattery reunited for an episode of the music trivia series Track Star Versus, in which the pair competed to identify songs across a best-of-seven challenge. The appearance served partly to promote their new comedy film, Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass, and offered fans a look at the longtime collaborators' rapport as they reflected on their decades-long friendship.
During the game the actors identified tracks by artists ranging from Tom Petty and Neil Diamond to Bad Bunny, The National, Miles Davis and R.E.M. The episode saw the two swap stories about working together, loosely plan a trip to see Bad Bunny in Barcelona, and revisit deep-cut music video appearances, including Slattery's turn in The National's "Conversation 16". Their film, which centres on a woman whose engagement is disrupted after her fiancé pursues a celebrity "sex pass", opens in cinemas on 10th July.
