## Key points

- Jon Stewart compared Trump aide Natalie Harp to Elizabeth Holmes on The Daily Show.
- The jibe referenced Nathan Fielder's viral You Can See Everything documentary trailer.
- South Park also mocked Trump's Lake Ontario "Lake America" renaming.

## Summary

Jon Stewart used his return to The Daily Show after a month-long break to mock Donald Trump, taking particular aim at aide Natalie Harp by comparing her to Elizabeth Holmes. The comparison was sparked by the viral trailer for Nathan Fielder's documentary You Can See Everything, which superimposed Trump's face onto Fielder's body opposite Holmes playing Harp, prompting Stewart to joke that Harp acts as a "single conduit" filtering all information reaching Trump.

Stewart's monologue also referenced Trump's renaming of Lake Ontario to "Lake America" and highlighted a CNN clip of a letter Harp allegedly wrote to Trump. The Fielder documentary about Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes premiered at the Telluride Film Festival via A24 and had already gone viral for an intense scene of Holmes rocking her baby during a tense conversation. Stewart noted he wasn't the only Comedy Central figure targeting Trump, pointing to South Park's mock announcement that it would rename itself "South America" in response to the lake renaming.
