Jon Stewart used the trailer for Nathan Fielder's upcoming Elizabeth Holmes documentary "You Can See Everything" as a comic device on "The Daily Show" to mock Donald Trump's relationship with staffer Natalie Harp, who he framed as feeding the president a distorted version of reality. The segment played on Stewart's broader riff about Trump living in a "reality distortion field", using the Fielder film's premise of unflinching, fly-on-the-wall access to satirise the closeness between Trump and an aide dubbed the "human printer".

Stewart introduced Harp through a montage of news clips describing how she follows Trump everywhere with a laptop and printer to supply him with positive stories, reportedly once climbing into an SUV's boot to stay with him for a court appearance, and allegedly writing him letter he called "love letters". He then aired a mock "exclusive" clip in which Trump's face was superimposed over Fielder's in the real "You Can See Everything" trailer, which follows Elizabeth Holmes in the weeks before she began an 11-year prison sentence for defrauding investors through her Theranos startup; the documentary premiered at a secret Telluride Film Festival screening.
