## Summary

The Indianapolis Colts are fielding trade enquiries for All-Pro running back Jonathan Taylor, with discussions described as active and ongoing. The talks reflect the team’s decision to sell players and build for the future after a 2-5 start and the firing of general manager Chris Ballard.

The Broncos, Packers, Vikings, Giants and Seahawks have reportedly contacted the Colts, and at least one offer included a second-round pick plus further compensation. Indianapolis has already traded Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner, while Taylor says he is proud to be a Colt but cannot control what happens. The 27-year-old has 587 rushing yards and eight touchdowns in seven games, and is on course for another season with at least 1,100 yards.
