- Ireland face South Africa twice in Cape Town.

## Summary

Neve Jones is set to earn her 50th Ireland cap against South Africa in Cape Town, as Stacey Flood and Dorothy Wall return to the starting side. The first of two WXV Global Series Tests takes place on Saturday, with Ireland looking to build on a recent win over Japan.

Jones starts at hooker, Flood at full-back and Wall in the second row. Wall’s return moves Fione Tuite-O’Sullivan to blind-side flanker, while Brittany Hogan replaces the injured Aoife Wafer at number eight. Ireland began their WXV campaign with a defeat by the United States, then beat Japan; their only previous meeting with South Africa was a 37-0 win at the 2006 Women’s Rugby World Cup. The teams meet again on 31 October.
