Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter at Matchroom, is in conflict with Dana White over his involvement and claims it breaches their contract, stating White's participation "ain't happening" despite Netflix's announcement of the collaboration. Fury and his promoter Frank Warren are blaming Hearn's reluctance to work with White for potentially costing "the biggest fight in boxing history", whilst Hearn maintains he is standing by his contractual obligations. The dispute represents the latest obstacle following years of failed attempts to make the fight, with previous collapses in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
