Riff Raff Entertainment, the boutique production label co-founded by Jude Law and producer Ben Jackson in 2017, is developing an action feature that will see Law star as a getaway driver. The plans were revealed by Jackson and fellow executive Katie Sinclair during a keynote at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival's industry sidebar, offering a rare glimpse of the company's development slate and its cinema-focused strategy.

Jackson described the film as "a very simple idea about a getaway driver who wants to get from A to B to C, and there are a lot of things in his way," an idea he and Law conceived after Law enjoyed shooting car chases on The Order. The script has been written by Zach Baylin together with Kate Susman, who previously collaborated with the company on Black Rabbit and The Order. Riff Raff, which employs seven full-time staff, has around 50 projects in development, roughly 30 of them "fully fledged and out to financiers" (about 15 films and 15 TV projects); the company favours theatrical releases over streaming and elevated, high-end television, and is also developing a UK-Portuguese co-production with On Falling director Laura Carreira.
