Julian Assange and his wife, Stella, have announced they are expecting their third child. Stella said the pregnancy would not have been possible without those who helped secure Assange’s freedom, highlighting the personal significance of his return to Australia after years of legal battles and imprisonment.

The couple already have two children, Gabriel and Max, and have kept a low profile since Assange was released in June 2024. He pleaded guilty to conspiring to obtain and disclose classified US national defence documents under a deal with American prosecutors, avoiding further imprisonment but remaining barred from entering the United States without permission; he recently returned to social media after a prolonged absence.
