The first trailer for "Jumanji: Open World," the fourth and reportedly final instalment in the franchise, has been released, revealing that the story returns to the real world for the first time since the 1995 original. Instead of the characters being pulled into the magical jungle board game, the perils of Jumanji will instead erupt into everyday life, marking a significant tonal shift for the long-running series and drawing renewed attention to a franchise that has proven far more durable than expected.

The film reunites Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan and Jack Black, who joined the series with 2017's "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" and returned for "Jumanji: The Next Level." It also brings back the original teenage cast members, Alex Wolff, Ser'Darius Blain, Morgan Turner and Madison Iseman, as Spencer, Fridge, Martha and Bethany respectively.
