The production marks the feature directorial debut of writer Dave Pantano and operates within the tradition of ensemble family dramas such as 'Little Miss Sunshine' and 'August: Osage County.'

Squibb, recently acclaimed for indie films including 'Eleanor the Great' (directed by Scarlett Johansson) and 'Thelma,' will portray the mother character contending with cognitive decline and dementia whilst striving to retain control over her circumstances. The film is produced by teams at Salado Pictures and The Rosenzweig Group, with Borstein also serving as a producer.
