Kacey Musgraves has launched a personal-lubricant line called Drought Drops, created in partnership with women's wellness brand Medicine Mama. The product ties into the country star's increasingly explicit public persona, building on the themes of her song "Dry Spell" and the racy imagery in her "Mexico Honey" video, and reflects a broader push by the Texas-born singer to challenge conventions around what female country artists are allowed to depict publicly.

The eggplant-coloured bottle is made with organic aloe and comes with a limited-edition Musgraves-themed sticker sheet. It has already sold out, with the brand's website indicating a new shipment is expected in early September. The launch coincides with the start of Musgraves' tour, which kicks off in Chicago on 21 August, also her 38th birthday.
