The trailer shows a participant in Las Vegas claiming to have placed a $5,000 Kalshi wager on Spain winning the 2026 World Cup. Kalshi says the receipt shown was actually dated 16 May 2025 and appeared to be a cropped saved image, not a live trade; it claims Netflix was alerted but declined to remove the scene. Netflix said none of the documentary footage was fabricated and that it was filmed at a World Cup watch event in Las Vegas on 17 July 2026.
