Kanye West Reaches Settlement in Ex-Assistant’s Sexual Abuse Lawsuit

The Hollywood Reporter · 2 hours ago

Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has reached an unconditional settlement with former assistant Lauren Pisciotta in her sexual harassment and abuse lawsuit. The agreement ends a civil case containing serious allegations of workplace sexual misconduct, though it does not establish liability and the settlement terms were not disclosed.

Court documents say the case will be withdrawn within 45 days of the July 23 settlement. Pisciotta, who worked for West from 2021 to 2022, initially alleged explicit messages and materials, wrongful dismissal, unpaid wages and emotional distress; later filings added allegations of sexual assault, battery and rape. West repeatedly denied the claims, with a representative previously describing later allegations as “fantasy fiction”.
