Katseye has withdrawn from Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields Festival in Irvine, California, after member Megan Skiendiel sprained her ankle during tour rehearsals. The group said doctors advised her to rest so she can recover ahead of their forthcoming tour, and expressed regret to fans who had planned to attend.

Katseye had been due to perform on the Dandelion Stage at 2.15pm on Saturday, between Santigold and Mitski; Santigold will now fill the slot. It remains unclear whether the injury will affect the group’s “Wildworld” tour, which begins in Dublin on 1 September, following Katseye’s first Billboard 200 number-one album, “Wild”.
