KATSEYE Release WILD EP Bonus Track “Unloveu” with Music Video

Consequence ·

KATSEYE have released “Unloveu” on digital platforms, making the WILD EP bonus track available beyond the physical editions that first included it. Its release marks a songwriting milestone for the group and arrives as their North American WILDWORLD TOUR begins.

Lara Raj co-wrote and co-produced the ballad with Amy Allen and Ross Golan, the first time a KATSEYE member has contributed to the group’s songwriting and production. The song’s subdued sound and monochrome video differ from the group’s usual upbeat style; the tour supports WILD, their first EP to top the Billboard 200, and is proceeding while Manon Bannerman and Sophia Laforteza are on hiatus.

  • “Unloveu” is now streaming beyond physical copies of WILD.
  • Lara Raj co-wrote and co-produced the track.

KATSEYE is a pop group formed through a joint project by music companies HYBE and Geffen Records. Its members are Manon Bannerman, Sophia Laforteza, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel and Yoonchae Jeung.

WILD is the group’s first extended play, or EP: a short collection of songs longer than a single but shorter than a full album. It became their first release to top the US Billboard 200 chart. The group’s WILDWORLD TOUR is taking place while Bannerman and Laforteza are on hiatus.

“Unloveu” is a ballad, a slower song focused on its melody and vocals, which contrasts with KATSEYE’s usual upbeat sound. Lara Raj’s work on its writing and production marks the first time a group member has contributed to both for one of their releases.
