As Fletcher and Takeshita wore each other down, Okada capitalised with a decisive Rainmaker on Fletcher to secure the pinfall. Fletcher, despite the loss, chose not to attack Okada with the title belt and instead raised his hand in a show of sportsmanship. This marks Okada's second reign as International Champion, having previously held the title for 316 days after beating Kenny Omega at last year's All In.
