## Summary

Hugo Keenan scored three tries as Ireland beat Argentina 42-12 in Dublin, ending a difficult run of form with a convincing win in the Nations Championship. The result also maintained Ireland’s record of never losing to Argentina at home, while giving them a strong start to a run of fixtures against southern hemisphere sides.

Dan Sheehan, Sam Prendergast and Ronan Kelleher also scored tries, and Ireland secured a bonus point early in the second half. Argentina’s two tries both came from Mateo Carreras; injuries and a yellow card left the visitors short at key moments. Ireland, fourth in the northern section, next host Fiji and South Africa, while Argentina travel to Italy and France.
