## Key points

- Starmer posted a TikTok mixing his face with Fast and Furious 7's finale
- The No10 door was edited into the film's tribute scene
- The video was widely mocked online

## Summary

Sir Keir Starmer posted a TikTok video in which his face and the No10 Downing Street door were digitally edited into the closing scene of Fast and Furious 7, prompting widespread mockery online. The clip, apparently intended as a light-hearted piece of political content, drew ridicule for its jarring mix of Hollywood action-franchise sentimentality with Downing Street imagery, fuelling further criticism of the Prime Minister's efforts to appear relatable on social media.

Details of the video's exact content and its stated purpose were not fully outlined, but the mash-up saw Starmer's likeness superimposed onto the famous tribute sequence from the 2015 film, which honours the late actor Paul Walker. The stunt comes as Starmer faces continued scrutiny over his government's messaging and public image, with the reaction on TikTok and other platforms said to have been overwhelmingly mocking rather than favourable.
