Kelly Osbourne has criticised Twisted Sister singer Dee Snider after he questioned how much of Ozzy Osbourne’s lyrics and songwriting were genuinely his own. The dispute matters because it challenges the creative legacy of Ozzy, who died in July 2025, with Kelly arguing that Snider was unfairly diminishing someone unable to respond.

Snider said Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler wrote all of the band’s lyrics, while Bob Daisley and Motörhead’s Lemmy wrote lyrics for parts of Ozzy’s solo catalogue, including songs on 1991’s No More Tears. Kelly called his remarks “spectacularly classless”, defended her father’s artistic contribution and noted that Twisted Sister’s last major hit, “We’re Not Gonna Take It”, peaked at No. 21 in 1984.
