Kelly Osbourne has marked the first anniversary of her father Ozzy Osbourne's death with an emotional Instagram post reflecting on how grief has changed her. The Black Sabbath frontman died on 22 July 2025, and his daughter has since spoken openly about struggling with the loss, including responding to online criticism about her weight loss late last year by explaining she was doing her best while grieving.

In her latest post, Kelly writes that grief has taken more than her father, describing how it has also stolen the person she was before his death, dividing her life into a "before" and an "after". She reflects that the deepest sorrow is not simply missing someone who has died but longing for the version of yourself that seemed to die alongside them. The anniversary has also prompted tributes from the surviving original members of Black Sabbath.
