Kelly Osbourne says she ‘wasn’t well’ while facing harsh scrutiny, body-shaming after dad Ozzy’s death

Fox News · 8 hours ago

Kelly Osbourne has spoken candidly about struggling with harsh public scrutiny and body-shaming following the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne, admitting she "wasn't well" and was in no state to cope with the criticism while grieving. In a new interview with Hello!, the 41-year-old said she is now focused on healing mentally and physically, describing it as a slow, lifelong process that cannot be fixed quickly or in a single therapy session.

Ozzy Osbourne, the Black Sabbath frontman, died at his home in England on 22 July 2025 aged 76. Since then, Kelly has repeatedly hit back at online trolls who mocked her weight and appearance, including in Instagram posts calling the comments "cruel" and "dehumanising", and in a video shared during a December 2025 appearance by her mother, Sharon Osbourne, on "Piers Morgan Uncensored", in which Kelly said the only thing she had to live for was her family. She also accepted a lifetime achievement award on her father's behalf alongside Sharon at the BRIT Awards in February.
