Billboard has released the "West Coast Momentum Mix", a playlist curated in partnership with Planet Fitness that draws on streaming and consumption data from Luminate to reflect the music people in West Coast cities are listening to during workouts, road trips and daily routines. The mix is part of Billboard's broader "Movement Mixes" series, which pairs editorial curation with real listening data to capture the sound of a given region, and this instalment showcases the West Coast's blend of hip-hop, R&B, alternative, rock, pop and música mexicana influences.

The playlist is built from the top 200 tracks streamed between January 2026 and the present across Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Sacramento and Las Vegas, and features artists including Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, 2Pac, Fuerza Regida, Tyler, The Creator and Dominic Fike. Highlighted tracks include 2Pac and Dr Dre's "California Love", Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" and Dominic Fike's "BABYDOLL".
