Kenny Chesney Dusts Off Deep Cuts—including One He Hasn’t Performed in More Than a Decade—at Nashville Album Release Show
Kenny Chesney marked the release of his latest album, Silver Sands Marina, with a 90-minute pop-up concert at Nashville’s The Pinnacle. He mixed new material with well-known hits and overlooked catalogue tracks, including “Ain’t Back Yet”, which he had not performed publicly since 2015. The show highlighted Chesney’s emphasis on community, positivity and live connection with fans.
The set opened with “Summertime” and included three new songs—“Burn My Boat”, “Talkin’ Dirt” and “Goldfish”—which the audience already knew. Chesney also performed with fellow East Tennessee musician Greylan James, who will support him on next year’s Original Vibe Room Tour, before closing with “Our Last Night” and returning for an encore featuring “American Kids” and “Don’t Happen Twice”.
