## Summary

The Creekers, a six-member band from eastern Kentucky, have moved from small-bar gigs and day jobs to major country stages after their bluegrass-inflected song “Tennessee” went viral. Their rise reflects growing interest in roots music and has given the group hope that they can earn a living from music.

The band released its second album, *Follow the Sound*, on Warner Records Nashville, its first full-length for the label. Formed in 2022, the group calls its mix of bluegrass, country, pop, blues and gospel “creekergrass”; “Tennessee” drew hundreds of thousands of views overnight in 2025 and prompted more than 300 industry emails. Recent milestones include performances at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium and Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, plus a Grand Ole Opry debut.
