Kevin Hart and Henry Cavill’s Netflix Spy Comedy Adds Jason Isaacs, Justine Lupe and Aja Naomi King (EXCLUSIVE)
Netflix has expanded the cast of its untitled spy comedy starring Kevin Hart and Henry Cavill, adding Jason Isaacs, Justine Lupe and Aja Naomi King to the film. The move continues the streamer's deepening relationship with Hart, whose recent projects including "Lift", "Me Time", "The Man From Toronto", "Fatherhood" and "72 Hours" have all debuted on the platform. Specific role details for the new additions have not been disclosed.
The film, directed by McG from a script by Jonathan Tropper, Adam and Aaron Nee, and Lizzie and Wendy Molyneux, follows two rival spies whose double lives collide after their wives become friends at a Lamaze class. Isaacs is known for "Harry Potter" and "The White Lotus", Lupe for "Succession" and "Nobody Wants This", and King for "How to Get Away With Murder" and "Lessons in Chemistry". Production is led by Shawn Levy and Dan Levine of 21 Laps, Ryan Reynolds' Maximum Effort, and Hart's Hartbeat, alongside McG, with several executive producers also attached.
